Learning CSS and PHP all at once is too much for this brain. I am envious of the way other blogs look. Though you ought to be entranced by the brilliant writing, it would be nice to be able to fancy this place up a little.
The help files I've found online are already so technical as to be unintelligible to someone who knows some html, but whose last computer language was hypertext (remember Hypercard? wasn't it cool? I miss it!).
I will have to edit the CSS textually, as my GoLive is the newest old version that works on OS 9, and it only knows CSS1.
I desperately need a new Mac Powerbook G4 (15 in screen) and anyone who wants to donate to the cause is welcome!
Is there anyone with a recommendation for say, an Idiot's Guide to CSS? (or PHP?) Or anyone who, out of the goodness of her/his heart, would help me customize this blog site? If it were a question of normal html I could do it. But it's not! It's the first time since 1986 that I've run across something on the computer that I've wanted to do but just can't find the time or resources to figure out! It's so frustrating!
It's not like I haven't done anything with this site, but it's not up to my neato Jeano standards.
I've started submitting this site to blog search engines, and I hope that I'll start getting some readers, too. Just think of poor Jeano up here in the cold (-20F today—see weather rant) North, scrolling down her blog, looking for comments (friendly, I hope) and finding......NONE!
As Gomer Pyle's DI used to say, "I can't HEAR you!"
