If you've ever sung the Star Spangled Banner in an Elmer Fudd voice, you'll appreciate this site. Even if you haven't (you ought to try it, it's hilarious), you may find this amusing.
Rinkworks has a "dialect" translator. This is similar to the Google translator that lets you view pages in other languages. I've seen my own web page in German, Russian and other languages. The Rinkworks "Dialectizer" has Elmer Fudd, Cockney, Redneck, Swedish Chef and other funny "dialects." It's all in fun and definitely kept me amused for a while.
What you do is enter any website link (www.whitehouse.gov might be a way to go) and choose your dialect. Hit the button and it takes you to the completely rewritten website.
My favorite is the Swedish Chef. Remember him, from Sesame Street?
Here's the original:
First you take the meatballs and then you toss them lightly with the oil. Fry them in a pan and add gravy. Simmer for half an hour, serve with noodles. Bon Appetit!
Here is the Swedish Cheffifized version:
Furst yuoo teke-a zee meetbells und zeen yuoo tuss zeem leeghtly veet zee ooeel. Fry zeem in a pun und edd grefy. Bork bork bork! Seemmer fur helff un huoor, serfe-a veet nuudles. Um gesh dee bork, bork! Bun Eppeteet!
Here is the Redneck version (which is more of a hillbilly, I'd say):
Fust yo' take th' meatballs an' then yo' tost them lightly wif th' oil, ah reckon. Fry them in a pan an' add gravy. Simmer fo' ha'f an hour, sarve wif noodles. Bon Appetit! Fry mah hide!
