I'm not surprised that Ole eats oranges. Ole would eat rocks if I put butter on them. But this whole thing of eating oranges started with Sofia. Yes, Sofia, the husky/coyote dog who is one of the most carnivorous dogs you could imagine.
One day I left some little oranges on the windowsill to keep cool at work. Before the end of the day, Sofia had stolen one and was busy playing with it, and finally killing it and eating it! She peeled it quite deftly, and ate the fruit. She then graciously allowed Ole to eat the peels.
The video here is of the third orange she's eaten. I guess this is her new, fun toy that turns into a snack!
