The leaves are turning, and students are back in school. Moms, dads and grandparents are juggling school and activities, in this case, trying to find a good time for music lessons.
Most of my lesson times in the late afternoon are taken, although there are a few left. There are many in the early afternoon, so heads up you homeschoolers! Those are ideal for you! Early afternoon, say at noon or 1pm, are also a great time for lunchtime music lesson for working folks. Call me for the best chance at getting the time that works for you.
I teach adults, not just children. You're never too old to learn something new! My oldest student is 77, and the youngest I will accept is 5. I'm sure plenty of people fit somewhere in that age group.
I'll set the date for the Winter Recital as soon as I know that it won't conflict with certain school concerts. The dates I'm considering are sometime in the first two weeks of December, either on a Tuesday or a Thursday. I'm leaning more toward the Tuesday. Please let me know if you have a conflict during those two weeks. Stay tuned.
New this week is a payment calendar you can download from the left sidebar. It has an entire year charted, so that you can see at a glance which days payments are due, and how many lesson days for which you are paying.
I'm sorry to see the leaves fall, but it's still warm outside. It's always (too) warm in the studio, although once it is winter it's kind of nice that way. It's going to be getting dry soon and don't forget to keep your instrument humidified! Did you know that keeping a humidifying device in the case with your instrument helps keep it in tune? It also helps to keep it from cracking, which can be very expensive to repair.
I'll see you down at the studio!
